Canvass at Wicker Park - Farmers' Market

FairVote Illinois will be at the Wicker Park Farmers' Market to raise awareness about ranked choice voting as well as to collect sign-ups to support the cause. We’d like to have you join us, or even stop by to just talk and learn more.

We’ll start off the day around 9:00am by meeting at the Wicker Park Fountain in the middle of Wicker Park (1425 N. Damen, Chicago, IL 60622). From there we’ll pick a spot and take it from there. Feel free to join and leave anytime; just look for our signs somewhere in or around the market.

(Since this event is held outside, we will not go to the event if the weather looks bad. When this is the case, I will message all the people RSVPed to the event and make a post in the relevant Slack channel. Please feel free to call 607-339-5001 to confirm if none of these options are available to you.)

If you’ve never done canvassing or tabling before, never fear! It’s easy to get started and our experienced volunteers can show you the ropes. We’ll also have supplies (e.g. signup sheets, sample ballots, poster cards); just bring you!
