When people learn about RCV, they like it.  So it's our job to spread the word far and wide.  A great way to do this is by writing letters to the editor for your local publications.  Join us to get tips, feedback, and write letters with your fellow RCV advocates across the country.

This November, Peoria Township residents will get to vote on an advisory referendum on if they would like ranked choice voting for statewide elections in Illinois.  Not familiar with ranked choice voting yet?  Come to this community presentation where we'll talk through how it works, the benefits, and how you can help this November.

We will be phonebanking to help notify and mobilize people for upcoming RCV events. The meeting will be via Zoom and the calls will be made using your own phone combined with an online system on the computer. No experience is expected, we can show you how to do what you'll need.

FairVote Illinois will be at the Glenwood Sunday Market to raise awareness about ranked choice voting and collect sign-ups to support the cause. We’d love to have you join us!

We’ll start off the day at 9AM by meeting at the entrance to the market at Morse & Glenwood. Feel free to join and leave anytime; just look for the people with the clipboards.

If you’ve never done canvassing or tabling before, never fear! It’s easy to get started and our experienced volunteers can show you the ropes.  We’ll also have supplies (e.g. signup sheets, sample ballots, poster cards); just bring you!

Join our Volunteer Orientation zoom session to meet other volunteers and learn about the next steps of getting involved with FV-IL activities.

Meetings are scheduled every Tuesday at 6pm to:

• Present brief overview information about our organizational structure
• Learn how to connect with our teams through the Slack communications app
• Receive several helpful links for getting up to speed on RCV and how to talk to folks about it
