Please join Kristina and me on Sunday afternoon, February 26 at our home for an entertaining and informative introduction to one of the most significant developments in democratic elections in this country since the modern primary – Rank Choice Voting. RCV is changing the electoral process in the United States (I believe in a very positive way) from Nevada to Maine.  And there is a very good chance that it will be coming to Oak Park in 2024.  RCV is designed to bring more choice and less rancor to our elections, and produce more democratic results.

Intrigued?  Come learn about RCV with representatives from Fair Vote Illinois, who will tell you all about RCV and how it would change Village Board elections in Oak Park.  This will be an interactive – and tasty – event where you will get a feel for RCV by ranking beer and/or salsa.
