Canvass at Evanston - Farmers' Market

FairVote Illinois will be at the Evanston Farmers' Market to raise awareness about ranked choice voting as well as to collect sign-ups to support the cause. We’d like to have you join us, or even stop by to just talk and learn more.

We’ll start off the day around 9:00am by meeting at the intersection of Maple Ave and University Pl. (NE corner of the Hilton Garden Inn/SE corner of Northshore University HealthSystem Research Institute). Feel free to join anytime until around noon; just look for our signs.

(Since this event is held outside, we will not go to the event if the weather looks bad. When this is the case, I will message all the people RSVPed to the event and make a post in the relevant Slack channel. Please feel free to call 607-339-5001 to confirm if none of these options are available to you.)

If you’ve never done canvassing or tabling before, never fear! It’s easy to get started and our experienced volunteers can show you the ropes. We’ll also have supplies (e.g. signup sheets, sample ballots, poster cards); just bring you!
