Joe Cardinal is a husband, father of three, animal lover, works in IT, practices martial arts, enjoys outdoor skills, collecting comics (yes, he likes to rank them) and all things nerdy. “I love RCV and working with the team. Not only is it a critical step in addressing the many issues we face, it brings me in contact with so many people who care about the future.”
Samrah Syed is a junior at Hinsdale Central High School. She is an editor for her school’s newspaper and an experienced campaign worker. In 2022, she helped get Congressman Sean Casten reelected in both the primary and general elections. As a 16-year-old who is passionate about politics, Samrah is a dedicated advocate for ranked choice voting because it will empower voters, enable underrepresented voices, and enhance the democratic process to be more inclusive and just.
