Downtown Elgin Farmers' Market Canvass

FairVote Illinois will be at the Downtown Elgin Farmers' Market to raise awareness about ranked choice voting and to collect sign-ups to support the cause. We’d like to have you join us, or even stop by to just talk and learn more.

We’ll start in the afternoon at 3:00pm by meeting at the nearby Viator Coffee Co. (51 S Grove Ave) located in the Dream Hall/Food Hall building (red awnings). Space and weather permitting, I (Joel) will plan to be seated in the outdoor area and should have some RCV paraphernalia with me for easy IDing. From there, we'll walk over to either South Riverside Drive or South Spring Ave (it's unclear which is the location of the market, but they're both so close to each other that it shouldn't be too hard to figure out on the day).

Feel free to join and leave anytime; just look for our signs/shirts. Feel free to text me if you're having trouble finding us.

If you’ve never done canvassing or tabling before, never fear! It’s easy to get started and our experienced volunteers can show you the ropes. We’ll also have supplies (e.g. signup sheets, sample ballots, poster cards); just bring you!
